Michael Hoehn, CFA, MBA
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Investment OfficerMichael began his career in institutional equity research at National Bank Financial in Toronto, where he covered a diverse group of publicly-traded Canadian companies. In 2005, he joined Morgan Stanley Principal Strategies (MSPS), the bank’s proprietary investing arm based in New York. His team managed in excess of $8 billion in gross bank assets, and Michael was responsible for several concentrated public and private investments across multiple industries, geographies, and asset classes. In 2009, Morgan Stanley exited this business and Michael returned to Toronto and managed personal assets for a number of years. In 2018, he joined Palos Wealth Management as they opened a new Toronto office, and embraced the opportunity to leverage his institutional pedigree across a diverse and ever-growing client base. He launched ATH in 2020 and migrated his client base in early 2021. Over the years, Michael has also served on the Boards of various for-profit and non-profit enterprises.
Frank Hurst
Chief Compliance OfficerFrank has served in the securities industry for over forty years, and has extensive experience in compliance, regulatory, and legal matters. Earlier in his career, he worked in various compliance roles at Canaccord Capital, TD Evergreen Investment Services, and Burns Fry. Frank later served as Chief Compliance Officer at Assante Wealth Management for five years and Iqon Financial for two years. Prior to joining ATH, he served for four years as Chief Compliance Officer at IPC Securities. Frank joined ATH in 2020.
